A way of looking at life

The philosopher

Think deeply. Care gently. Leave something useful behind.

I am curious about how we live, what we value, and what progress really means. Love and joy are the values I want to bring back to every conversation about technology, wealth and the future. I want to question openly, listen respectfully and change my mind when I learn something new.

A project is worth more when it helps someone live with dignity. In a world wounded by war, I want our ambition to include care for one another—not only bigger machines or bigger balance sheets.

Words I return to.

“Hatred is never appeased by hatred in this world. By non-hatred alone is hatred appeased.”

The Buddha’s teaching · Dhammapada, verse 5 · Translation by Acharya Buddharakkhita.

“परहित सरिस धरम नहिं भाई।”

There is no virtue like helping others. — My English rendering of Tulsidas, Ramcharitmanas, Uttar Kand. Read the phrase and meaning ↗

These words invite me to think about life and war in human terms. Behind every conflict is someone’s home, childhood, parent or future. I want the projects I build to make room for peace, dignity and hope.
